What makes a good Back Chair?

It is all about movement with full support.

Office workers spend long hours sitting in front of the computer.  This can be particularly difficult for those with back pain.  Our bodies were not made to sit for long periods.  We have evolved, or maybe devolved, through time from running and hunting to survive to sitting at work.

This has its own implications for our health.  Although our life style has changed we still need movement to oxygenate the body and keep us healthy.

Chairs that encourage movement have become crucial for us to stay healthy and concentrate effectively at work.

Working at a computer often requires deep concentration.  This often results in tension building up in the muscles as we often hold ourselves still.  Chairs that encourage movement will help relieve this tension.

When you move a little in the HM Back Chair, the chair moves thus relieving the tension building up in the same muscles all the time.

This back chair for the office is designed to provide you with various sitting positions so you can adapt your sitting posture to the job at hand.

For example when they on the phone the HM Back Chair allows you to lean back, while the back supports your back at all times.  The HM back Chair allows you stretch your back while sitting supported.

Likewise when working on your keyboard, you can either sit into your HM Back Chair, with the backrest supporting your back while you move.  Or you can sit forward in the chair with the seat tilted, much like the effect of a kneeling chair - your posture improves  with your back in natural "S Position", putting less strain on the body.

Movement is natural for us.

Remember your best position is always your next.

This increases in importance for those who suffer with back pain.
