How long is the Level 1 course?

Our Level 1 course is an intensive 1-day live virtual workshop. It is designed to be time-efficient while providing all the clinical and legal knowledge required to start performing assessments immediately.

What is the difference between the Level 1 and Level 2 course?

Level 1 (Basic DSE Assessor) is designed for beginners. It is ideal for those who are new to health and safety or ergonomics, providing the essential foundation needed to start conducting standard assessments.

Level 2 (Advanced & Refresher) is for existing assessors. To remain compliant and fully qualified to carry out assessments, your certification must be kept up to date. After 3 years, you must complete the Level 2 course to refresh your certificate. This advanced course also dives deeper into complex cases, medically-graded equipment selection, and advanced postural analysis to handle difficult employee ergonomic requirements.
