Develope and encourage Good Habits.
Avoid back pain in our children;
- consciously act and lighten the school bag.
- buy a bag on wheels.
- buy a chair that encourage movement and give support.
- check on their posture, is the desk at the correct height for them?
- encourage good posture.
Become conscious of the way you work.
Improve posture at work;
- When standing, watch your posture.
- Sit upright - don't slouch. Sit with your hips a bit higher than your knees and your feet flat on the floor - or flat on a footrest. Try to be aware of how you sit, after a while you'll have taught yourself good posture.
- Change your position frequently while sitting and get up and move every 30 minutes
- Include body stretches in your day. - Drink water - a hydrated body heals quicker, works better.
- Lift correctly - using your leg muscles not your back.
- Always bend your knees and hips not your back.
- Exercise regularly.
- Maintain a healthy weight.
