Why use a footrest?

A footrest can provide the necessary support for your legs where your feet do not touch the ground. They can be used to ensure exactly the right angle between your thigh and upper body.

That is why the EEC directive governing the minimum health and safety requirements for the workplace specifies the following:
“When seated, the employee’s feet must be in contact with the floor or a footrest”.

A footrest can help you to adopt the correct posture and thereby ensure good thigh circulation.

Most of our footrests feature continuously variable height and tilt angle adjustment. This means that these easily adjustable footrests can be perfectly adapted to any workplace situation.

In some models, this is achieved by means of apneumatic spring, making your footrest as convenient and easy to adjust as the familiar modern workplace chair.

Ergonomic footrests help ensure your feet are in contact with a stable surface,  which is important for good posture. It is very important that while sitting your feet are on flat surface that offers constant support. A footrest also helps the user to adopt the correct posture and thereby ensure good thigh circulation.
