What Is Ergonomic Training?

Our Courses run on specific dates throughout the year. Because our courses are limited places, we regularly sell out and we will normally provide new dates, however, this isn't always possible.

The Level 1 Beginners VDU Course starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm. There are various breaks in between.
To get the most out of the course, you will be asked to take part in engagement activites throughout the day. These will require you to have your video and microphone working correctly.
We include these activites to help you learn as much as possible about becoming a VDU Assessor.
While it is not required to have an in-house Assessor at every company, it is required that every employee who works at a computer, for more than 1 hour a day, be assessed by a competent assessor.
By completing this course, you will be able to effectively assess any employee or patient that works at a computer, thus covering your company in the legislation.

James has studied Occupational Ergonomics and Occupational Health and Safety, with his main area of expertise in workplace ergonomics; he is a qualified ergonomic assessor and seating assessor.
He provides ergonomic training for companies, assessment companies, physiotherapists, and chiropractors.
He also gives lectures in ergonomics to physiotherapy students at Trinity College and the Royal College of Surgeons.
