Hopper Balance Dental Saddle

New

The Hopper Balance Dental Saddle is the Best Dentist Saddle to improve posture and prevent back pain among Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and Dental Nurses. With around 30% of Oral Healthcare professionals being forced to retire early each year due to neck and back pain current seating options don't appear to provide adequate support.

The innovative saddle on the Hopper encourages dynamic sitting which is very important in maintaining a healthy spine and reducing back pain. The comfortable saddle shape allows Dental professionals to work safely without slouching or leaning over too much. Compared to the Amaze, the Hopper has a slightly wider seat allowing for a slightly smaller hip angle. The Hopper provides a more traditional sitting experience as more of your weight rests on the seat. The optional foot-operated height adjustment of the Dental Saddle allows you to work away without the need to pause to adjust your position.

An adjustable balance mechanism is incorporated into this purpose-built Dental saddle encouraging subtle pelvic micro-movements in response to how you move. These movements help reduce intervertebral disc pressure and promote the activation of your core muscles which in turn improves posture and helps eliminate lower back pain. This high quality saddle is manufactured in the Netherlands by Score Dental. Usual Dental Saddles may lack the unique balance mechanism which is vital in reducing the likelihood of work related injuries.

1. Prevent back and neck pain with a natural upright sitting posture

Traditional dental saddles and stools allow a limited hip angle. This increases the pressure on your spine and makes it tricky to sit upright leading to a slouched position and also encourages a habit of working bent over.

The Hopper Balance Dental Saddle with Lumbar Support stops this occurring. With a raised sitting height which opens your hip angle (up to 140 degrees) along with a uniquely shaped saddle, you can sit in a healthy neutral position (spine, neck and head in vertical alignment). This enables a healthy and stable sit-stand posture while you work.

2. Work nearer to your patient without bending over as much.

A standard saddle allows a hip angle of 90 to 110 degrees which means your legs may stop you sitting close to your patient. This leads to a tendency to lean over further to get a better view of your patient's mouth. Adjusting the saddle height isn't an option either as you would be forced to lift your arms higher, further increasing the tension on your shoulders and neck.

On an Hopper Balance Dental Saddle you can sit comfortably in an elevated position, meaning your upper legs will be oriented in a more downward and sideways direction (instead of forwards). This allows you to sit far nearer your patient in a safe position while easily pushing with your left or right leg to move around.

3. Work to your best in an active posture with improved concentration and increased energy.

Traditional dental saddles promote lengthy static sitting which leads to a dull or tingling feeling as blood vessels can become pinched.

The ergonomic shape of the Hopper Balance Dental Saddle with Lumbar support encourages an open posture and makes breathing easier. The innovative design improves digestion and blood circulation also, meaning greater focus and more energy throughout the day.
