How to help back pain in the office

Suffering from back pain, either lower back pain or upper back pain can effect you whole being.  Back Pain solutions help reduce and prevent the back pain and also allows you to continue to enjoy your life again to the full.

The type of office furniture, office chairs and office desks we buy for ourselves will have an effect on your welbeing.  An ergonomic chair for your office will help prevent back pain.  If you have a pain in the back then you should consider a back care office chair to relieve back pain.  We specialise in chairs for bad backs.

.

Height Adjustable Tables allow you sit and stand for a while when you work.   This can be essential for continued work when you have a back problem.  Sit Stand Desks need to be an electric desk to facilitate you using the sit stand facility.

Back pain often strikes us late in the evening after our days work.  We often find our back pain increases as the day goes on.  We, back pain sufferers need to invest in living room chairs, the fireside chair we use to watch TV and relax in the evening.

KOS' made to measure home chairs ensure your sit comfortable - you back is supported by the back rest lumbar support, the height of the sitting room chair is correct for you, and the back rest of the chair is comfortable.  The seat of our living room chairs are manufactured to improve your posture, thus resulting in you putting less pressure on your back.

We spend 1/3 of our life in bed.  KOS' bedding helps your back recover from the days activities.   The Liforma System ( a combination of wool top cover, latex mattress and a wood slat system)  ensures your spine is in a neutral positionwhich helps your discs regenerate.

Back pain at work can be relieved with a work chair with good lumbar support, that you can adjust to suit your needs.  At KOS we do a range of cleanroom chairs, production chairs, laboratory chairs, chairs for esd areas, checkout chairs etc.

If you are working with a computer having your monitor screen at the correct height and distance will put less strain on your back.  A monitor arm will also decrease neck pain.  Likewise using a laptop stand with a mini keyboard and computer mouse will immediately result in you working at an ergonomic workstation - reducing strain on your spine.

Being conscious of your posture, always striving to improve your posture will result in you putting less strain on your back.  KOS have a range of ergonomic accessories which help you maintain good posture and reduce back pain.

Desk Risers raise the office desk to the correct height for you.

Footrests ensure your feet rest on a stable surface, putting less pressure on your back.  KOS' Footrests also help improve circulation.

Writing Slopes will help keep you from slouching.

Lumbar supports and back rests provide extra lower back support when your chair does not give the back support needed.

I suppose we have to learn how to mind ourselves.  There is alot we can do for ourselves to help prevent back pain and to reduce the effect a back problem can have on our lives.
