Copy/H Flexible KOS064
New
Many computer users suffer from aches and pains in neck, back and arms. One of the main causes is the fact that your computer workplace is not suitable for doing several tasks (reading, writing, typing and data entry) at the same time.
Documents are often placed beside, in front of you, or behind the keyboard. To use these documents for reading or writing your neck and back have to be bent and or have to be turned.
This method of working is extremely aggravating for your neck and back, resulting in chronic neck pain and back pain.

How this Flexible Document Holder changes the way you work ...
Working positions:
1. The read and write position
When you are reading or writing the documents are positioned at a comfortable angle for your neck (angle ±15 degrees). Occupational therapists advise a higher working surface during reading and writing (3-4 cm) than during typing or data entry. With the FlexDesk worktop the height of the working surface is automatically correct which eliminates the need for working surfaces with different heights at one workplace.
2. The data entry position
In this position the documents are located between your screen and keyboard, the ideal position when you are entering data into your computer.
When your keyboard is wider than 47,5 cm, it will not fit into the FlexDesk worktop. Ergonomically, a keyboard wider than 47,5 cm has the disadvantage that the reach distance towards your mouse is too big.
Occupational therapists advise a viewing distance towards your monitor of 50-70 cm depending on the size of your monitor and the font size set on your screen. For healthy work, you need at least a depth of 50 cm workspace at your workplace plus the depth you need for the monitor.
Improving health, efficiency and cost savings:
The FlexDesk worktop leads to:
1. Process improvement you will work more efficiently and increase productivity.
2. Less aches and pains, pressure of your neck and shoulders will decrease.
3. Improved staff welfare, more.
4. Cost savings, valuable time and office space is saved.
5. Added flexibility, the working surface can be put in the right position. (the read/write and the data entry position). The handle can also be used as a ledge for books and folders.
Angle and height adjustable
The FlexDesk worktop has two different knobs on each side to adjust the height and the angle of the working surface in relation to the keyboard and the monitor.
Because working with the FlexDesk worktop happens at a favorable angle for your neck and in one line with your keyboard and screen, the FlexDesk worktop is the solution to integrate all your tasks at your computer workplace and prevent aches and pains in your neck, shoulders, arms and back, while maximimsing desk top space.
