Built in Precision

Its 7SENSES™, new tracking technology inside the rollerbar, provides unmatched cursor precision and control. The position of the sensors, placed inside the bar, protect it from dust and dirt. 7SENSES™ tracks cursor position, constantly adjusting speed and acceleration to ensure the rollerbar is as central as possible, while intuitively adapting to your pace to decrease micro movements and increase efficiency.

RollerMouse DNA for Reduced Strain

The RollerMouse Red is placed in front of you, between you and your keyboard, alleviating the need to stretch to the side.    There is no constant griping of the mouse. The need for constant gripping and reaching for the standard mouse is eliminated thus reducing neck and shoulder problems often caused by these constant movements.

Your mouse movement is brought into your comfort zone, improving posture and alleviating the extra strain caused by the standard mouse.

Effortless Control

The rollerbar is bigger helping to improve control and reduce strain.  You need to place less force reducing strain when using the rollerbar.

Central Pointing Device RollerMouse Red Key Functions

Well made device that allows switching hands, but not well suited for ergo keyboards
Layla D. on 06/01/2017I have only used the RollerMouse a few weeks now and do like the product, which feels heavy duty and well made. It's easy to learn to use, and I would say the adaptation is pretty close to instant, compared to trying a rollerball mouse, which I felt took more time to get used to. The best feature for me is that it allows significant transfer of usage to my left hand to give my right hand a break. The roller is smooth and pressure adjustable. I like the buttons for double click and copy 7 paste, and you can also click using the roller bar. When I first got it, I thought it might have been nice to have a back and forward button for internet surfing, but I haven't found myself missing this much.On the downside, it's not well suited to pair with an ergonomic keyboard, which for me is counter intuitive. If you have hand/wrist/shoulder pain from mousing, it might be the case that a flat keyboard would contribute to that as well. Maybe that's just my opinion. Anyway, it doesn't get along so well with my keyboard, so I am tinkering with positions that might work better. Also, it's not wireless, though the cord is long, and the unit is not really intended to be moved around anyway, so this is not a big deal.I would have to say the biggest downside is the price, which is pretty astronomical, compared to other mice. I can see the quality materials and manufacturing, but I think I would settle for a lower grade for a more reasonable cost. Unfortunately, with limited options out there in this style, there aren't many choices unless you want to go with the more traditional mice. Since I spend a lot of time typing and have carpal tunnel pain, I bit the bullet to try it out. If not for that, I probably wouldn't bother.
it became a great alternative to a traditional mouse
Sofia O. on 14/02/2017After a little tweaking with the custom driver settings, it became a great alternative to a traditional mouse. I have no plans to ever go back, although the RollerMouse may not be for everyone. Make sure you download the "beta" driver. I am using it with a Kinesis Advantage keyboard. The keyboard is a bit far from the RollerMouse (because of how the keys are positioned on the Kinesis) -- but it's still the best combination I've tried. I secured both onto a wooden kitchen cutting board using double-sided tape, raising the back of the RollerMouse to meet the end of the Kinesis. I applied felt pads to the bottom of the cutting board, allowing the position of the keyboard and mouse to be moved as one unit.
Good Mouse Solution for People with Certain Joint Pain
Jessica O. on 20/10/2016Expensive for what it is but it performs well and definitely helps my wife, who struggles with joint pain. The platform for holding the keyboard at the proper height relative to the roller bar and mouse keys is a big improvement over the original version that we had used. Takes a little getting used to at first, but overall a good solution for everyday keyboard tasks.
Best ergonomic mouse I've tried!
Eabha B. on 28/11/2016Being unable to use a regular mouse I tried a 'Vertical Mouse". That didn't help me so I researched and found this. It's GREAT. Well made, electronically adjustable (with their drivers) [Windows 10]. Those who use my computer all say how natural its use is.
best mouse ever

Rollermouse is easy to use and has reduced stress on forearm
Charlotte O. on 02/09/2017I decided to purchase the Contour Rollermouse Re:d due to "tennis elbow" or forearm pain developed with heavy computer and mouse use. I am using Windows 7 and this product has helped reduce the stress and pain in my forearm. I like the use of buttons accessible by my thumbs/fingers to "left click", "double click" and "right click." I like having the mini-roller, black in the middle of the silver keys to scroll up or down on web pages. The Contour RollerMouse has met my expectations and I am thankful for the product.
Really helped my pain
Amy O. on 25/07/2017I have terrible pain in most of the joints in my hands from RSI in addition to carpal tunnel and have tried almost all of the ergonomic options, including a roller ball mouse, sideways mouse, etc. This mouse is the only one that provides some relief. It allows you to use both hands on it, either in tandem to reduce the overall pressure load each hand has to apply, or easily swapping back and forth between hands to allow for breaks. The learning curve is only a day or two. If you can't switch jobs to one that involves little-to-no computer usage, get this mouse. I still have hand pain, but it's much less than what it was previously. Highly recommend.
Works great and responsive
Julia S. on 11/09/2016I just upgraded to this newer version of the roller mouse after my old one started going bad. I had my old one for about 7 years, and I am a heavy user. I play games and do remote computer support everyday and it works great. I like the bigger mouse roller and the arm rest is very supportive. It is very responsive when gaming, and I have had no problem with online games with it as long as you are used to it. Because of my old roller mouse I had no trouble getting used to the new one.
Great product!
Laura M. on 07/09/2017Just received this a few days ago and love it so much I'm ordering another one to use with another computer. I was surprised by how quickly I got used to using this - it is is very intuitive and simple to use. I will update this review after I have used it for a bit longer, but the RollerMouse Red has made a great first impression!
Helped with carpal tunnel issues
Faye H. on 16/06/2017This has made a world of difference for me. My carpal tunnel issues were from having to move the arm outside of the body to reach the mouse. This mouse being in front eliminated the pain in my shoulder, arm and elbow.Make sure you have a keyboard with an angled front bevel that dips pretty low. I use the Razer BlackWidow 2014 which you can look at to see what I mean. The low bevel let's you have access to more of the rollerbar. I didn't use the height adjusters that came with the mouse. I just put an extra mouse pad under the keyboard. That worked better for me.Also make sure you buy a new one of these as they had some manufacturing issues with the original mouse buttons. They gave too much play and could stick.
Best Mouse for Neck/Shoulder/Arm Injuries
Abigail K. on 19/10/2017This is a great improvement on the older RollerMouse Pro model. Highly recommend this mouse for those with neck, arm, and shoulder problems from repetitive mousing.
Helps with hand, elbow and shoulder issues...
Eve W. on 08/05/2017This roller mouse has been excellent for my aching hands, elbows and shoulders. I spend a lot of time on the computer and have developed joint problems with the mouse. So I got this and it has really helped. Took a little getting used to but once I got the flow, I don't think I'll go back to a standard mouse. I do agree that it is more expensive than it might need to be but it does the job. So I am happy with this purchase.
