Since 1991, KOS has been helping companies and individuals solve their occupational health issues and in 1999 we focused on only providing solutions that prevent and help people with back pain and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI). We are specialist suppliers of quality ergonomic products, which enhance the standards of health, safety and comfort for computer, office and industrial users.

Working closely with ergonomists, medical and health and safety professionals, architects & designers, facilities management specialists, KOS ensures that our products are innovative, efficient and cost-effective, but above all posture improving.  We provide ergonomic solutions for the workplace to help clients increase comfort, reduce absenteeism, increase productivity and comply with Health and Safety obligations.

We are Irish distributors of RH Chairs, probably the most ergonomic office chairs on the market.  We go to great lengths to ensure our customers get the correct product and solution.

Our Services

We provide a wide range of genuine ergonomic products, including office seating, height adjustable desks and ergonomic office accessories, which enhance user comfort, encourage good posture and reduce muscle strain.   Many of these are suitable for both office and industrial environments.

A good office chair is a vital tool for the office worker.  At KOS, we assess the needs of the individual.  We recommend a suitable chair based on the size of the individual, taking into account any musculo-skeletal disorders that may be present.

We adapt the chair to suit that individual, taking into account their height and weight so that the correct loading is placed on the body.  We also take into account the degree of neck and lumbar support needed.

Our clients benefit from a tailor made solution resulting in an upright posture, maximum freedom of movement, the lower back is always supported and the feet remain on the floor. This is both comfortable and ergonomically correct.

Customers are encouraged to visit our showroom, where most of our products are on display.  DSE Assessors (VDU Assessors) also find this particularly useful.

KOS Comfort Studio

Back pain does not stop when we leave the office.  To help those who suffer back pain in the home, we have recently added the KOS Comfort Fitting Studio to our back  store at Holycross.  Here you can use our unique measuring platform where we can help you find the style and size of chair that is best suited to you – providing made to measure chairs to suit your measurements.

Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists find this very useful.  It is ideal for people with back pain or recovering from back surgery.

Of course many of our customers are perfectly healthy and active in the 40 plus or 50 plus age group who demand an ergonomic, individually-adjusted easy chair.
